Did you know that you can pick a different color for each pending item you make in GoldMine? Much like changing the field label color, this can be used to indicate priority or critical items. For example, I’ve seen service departments use red appointments to indicate that this cannot be rescheduled and blue for those that can.

I don’t see this used in the field enough, in my humble opinion. It’s easy to change the color of field labels right on the Contact Record. I like to use this to indicate what fields are more or less important than others. For example, critical fields can be marked as red or non-critical fields can be marked in green.

Office 365: Outlook MailTips

If your organization uses Exchange and Outlook, consider enabling MailTips! It’s quite handy and can be a big help.
The MailTips bar (a yellow bar across the top of your email draft) is contextual and can pop up in different situations, including:
-If you select “Reply All” by accident
-If you type “please find attached” or something similar and don’t actually attach anything
-Responding to someone with an Out-Of-Office message up in Outlook
