Have you ever had to make updates to several records at the same time? If you go into each record separately for every update it will take you a long time! Sure you can import a batch of records all at once, but you’d need to put a spreadsheet together with all those updates first. Fortunately the Zoho CRM Sheet View function will help you save time!
Zoho recently made some changes to the User Interface (UI) of CRM. You might not see the difference yet, as you’ll have the option of switching back and forth between the old and new looks until May 15, 2020. That gives you plenty of time to practice and get used to the new look and feel!
The changes made to the Zoho CRM interface are mostly cosmetic – they are designed to enhance and streamline your experience by simplifying the layout and organization. The Home page and each module page will look the same, the changes are in the records.
It’s the middle of February already, and with each passing day we are reminded of all of those New Year’s resolutions that we have to get started on (or have already abandoned)! The post holiday winter season can seem long and dull, especially after the craziness of December and January. Personally, I think that February is a great time to implement some new organizational tools into your company to shake things up.
We often find that our small business clients don’t use the Zoho business suite to its fullest potential, so today we thought that we could highlight some of the Zoho apps that can help you manage projects and contacts, and easily integrate your email into your CRM. This may not be a shock to hear, but keeping your business organized can aid in improving client relations, create efficiency in your day-to-day workflow, help you easily track your businesses progress, and maybe even give you some time in your personal life to get cracking on those other goals you hoped to get to by the end of 2020. Who knew Zoho One could improve your small business and personal life?
Zoho CRM allows you to create templates that help you streamline your processes and use consistent branding both within and outside of your company. Zoho templates are simply forms that you use over and over again, such as thanking a customer for their inquiry, or creating an invoice. They are designed to pre-populate specified information from a record in a consistent format. You can create Email, Inventory and Mail Merge Templates. Templates save you tons of time – with a few clicks you can send out an email or form without having to type it up every time!

When it comes to non-profits, religious organizations, training institutes or other donation based businesses it’s important to also have a place to securely collect funds via an ecommerce avenue. Thanks to the Internet, business is not just local any more. I know- that’s obvious, but more and more, people are doing business globally. Beyond that, businesses are saving on overhead from offices, and teams are working remotely in co-working spaces or from their homes. That’s how we do it here at the Marks Group and Marks Group Live. If we’re not traveling around helping clients, we are doing business from our own homes. (Yes, currently I am hearing the faint sounds of my dog snoring from another room. What a life she leads.) That being said, just because your business is done remotely, it doesn’t mean that you don’t need to meet. Enter in Zoho Meetings. A web based video conferencing and webinar program that allows you to connect with your team members and clients, all while integrating into your Zoho One suite of products.
Customer relationship management, otherwise known as a CRM, is one of the most helpful tools any business could use. So, what is CRM software and what is Zoho CRM? Some people refer to a CRM system as a Rolodex on steroids. It’s a one-stop shop where you can keep all of your client’s contact information, organize your business deals, track marketing campaigns, and so much more. Zoho released their CRM software in 2005, and since then has been improving and updating it. They do this to truly focus on the “relationship” part of customer relationship management. Zoho CRM is widely used across the world use to its low cost, and different software program that are easily integrated into the main CRM.
