By CRM, Zoho, Zoho CRM, Zoho Tips No Comments

Zoho business suiteIt’s the middle of February already, and with each passing day we are reminded of all of those New Year’s resolutions that we have to get started on (or have already abandoned)! The post holiday winter season can seem long and dull, especially after the craziness of December and January. Personally, I think that February is a great time to implement some new organizational tools into your company to shake things up.

We often find that our small business clients don’t use the Zoho business suite to its fullest potential, so today we thought that we could highlight some of the Zoho apps that can help you manage projects and contacts, and easily integrate your email into your CRM. This may not be a shock to hear, but keeping your business organized can aid in improving client relations, create efficiency in your day-to-day workflow, help you easily track your businesses progress, and maybe even give you some time in your personal life to get cracking on those other goals you hoped to get to by the end of 2020. Who knew Zoho One could improve your small business and personal life?

Zoho CRM Quick Create Makes Creating Records Easy!

By CRM, Zoho, Zoho CRM, Zoho Tips No Comments

It is now even easier to use the Quick Create in Zoho CRM thanks to some recent changes from Zoho!

What is Quick Create?

As the name suggests, Quick Create is a faster way create a new record from an existing record based on lookup fields. So how does it work? Let’s say you would like the ability to create a new deal directly from an existing contact. In the Contact form, you would add a Deal lookup field. Then, in the Deal form you would use the Quick Create option to build a form that can be accessed directly from the Contact record.

Why use Quick Create?

Quick Create was designed to provide a quick and easy way of creating one record via look-up in a related record. Using the example above, when you create a new Deal directly from an existing Contact you will have a more streamlined way to enter the most vital information, making your life a little easier, especially when you are on the go!

How do I create a Quick Create form in Zoho CRM?

To create a quick create form, you must have an existing lookup field relating to another module in the general form. All Quick Create forms pull in information from that look up module. Creating a Quick Create layout functions the same as creating any other layout, by simply dragging and dropping a field from the list of options into the form, and as with all other forms can be created for different layouts.

Zoho Mapping Fields and Lead Conversion

By CRM, Zoho, Zoho CRM, Zoho Tips

Tips on Zoho mapping fieldsWhen it comes to Zoho mapping fields and lead conversion mapping, there is a lot to learn. If you’ve attempted to map a custom field in a lead record to a standard field in either the deal, contact, or account record, you may have encountered a somewhat common issue that some Zoho CRM users come across: the matching field you’re looking for doesn’t show up as an option.

Troubleshooting issues with Zoho mapping fields

In order to solve this issue, the first step you’ll want to take is confirming that both fields are the same type of fields.

For instance, if you’re attempting to map a field that’s categorized as a single line field, these are the only types of fields that will show up in the target module as choices in the Zoho mapping fields screen.
