This essay is a continuation of a blog I wrote that compares Zoho with Microsoft Dynamics 365. Both parts are written by Gene Marks of The Marks Group. We currently serve hundreds of Microsoft Dynamics and Zoho clients and provide training, consulting and implementation services to help our clients use these products. So is Dynamics better than Zoho? Is Zoho better than Dynamics? We’ve already looked at Zoho in Part 1. So now here are the pros and cons of Microsoft Dynamics 365, based on our experience as partners. Read More
Many don’t realize this, but Zoho, the company best known for its CRM and other office productivity applications, also offers a contact management option called Zoho ContactManager.
Does this make sense? It may very well. That’s because – and this may also come as a surprise – for many of our Zoho CRM clients, the Zoho ContactManager would be a better application for their business than a full-blown CRM product. Why? One word: overkill.
I meet a lot of business people who are frustrated with their technologies—particularly the software that they’re using. I get it. There are a lot of great applications out there, but many of them only do particular things.
Business owners and managers have asked me for years if there’s just one application that can do it all. Sadly, there still isn’t. But we’re getting closer. And the applications from Zoho are leading the way.
So maybe it’s time for you to consider Zoho software. These are five signs you should look for that may help you in that direction:
Sign #1: You have a workgroup
Honestly, if you’re just a freelancer or an individual user, the capabilities of a typical contact manager or email application, like Outlook or Gmail, will probably suffice for your needs. Sure, Zoho has a free version and of course you can quickly learn how to use it by watching our videos on Marks Group Live.
Are you thinking about investing in a CRM system and working with a Zoho consultant to get the most out of it, but still wondering if it’s worth it? Do you already have Zoho CRM, and you’re struggling with it?
The Sales Operations Optimization Study that CSO recently released examined many different companies to determine the effectiveness of their sales operations. The following was our takeaway:
You need a sales operation, not just a sales force
These days, your team needs to include administrative support and management. Your sales force can’t do it all alone. The best way to support your team is also to have an effective CRM system in place, such as Zoho. It also helps to work with a Zoho consultant to ensure everyone on your team has a thorough understanding of everything Zoho has to offer.
