GoldMine Expression fields are used to display text only. The information displayed can be free form text or a dbase formula. Users cannot enter or change any data in these fields and you are limited to 15 characters like field labels are.
To easily access files associated with a contact record, use the Links tab and create either a link to a specific file or to an entire folder or directory of files. It’s easy!
There may be times when you are in need of quickly viewing a picture. Some examples would be a picture of a person to verify their identity or images of property you are insuring.
Text messages can be sent to any phone number located in the Phone1, Phone2 and Phone3 fields.
There are times when you send a mass mailing or other activity outside of GoldMine but would still like to have a history record attached to the records that participated. Some examples are if you sent holiday card or gifts, presentations, or any action done in mass that needs a history record.
When you are not sure of the location of a client or vendor, you can configure the GM+View tab to display directions based on the address of a contact record.

Note: Some phone service provides charge for text messaging services. Be advised that whomever you send a text to may be charged additional fees.
