Zoho CRM reporting has undergone some significant changes! Have you noticed the yellow banner at the top of your screen letting you know a new reports version is available? Here we will discuss what these changes are and in future blogs we will go into more detail on how to create reports and use some of the newer features.
Zoho CRM Reporting Has A New UI!
The biggest change you will see in Zoho CRM reporting is a new UI. This new UI is more intuitive, faster and let’s you see what the report looks like as you create it. You no longer have to have everything set up before you run the report and realize you need to make changes.

In addition to the UI changes, Zoho CRM reporting has undergone other enhancements. These include the following:
- You can now have up to 5 parent module. This will help to gain more insights into the primary module. For example, if your primary module is Deals, you can select parent modules such as Accounts, Contacts, Users, etc.
- Any modules that appear as related lists for the primary module can be added as child modules. This allows you to create a report using multiple modules.
- Using the parent-child relationships you can drill down to more modules based on the related lists in the child module.
- When choosing the parent module, you can choose wither to include all records for the parent module (Inclusive) or only those with records tied to the child module (Exclusive). This allows you to limit the amount of data in the report without filtering.
As you can see there have been many changes to Zoho CRM reporting. Future blogs will dive further into these changes and provide examples on creating different types of reports.
