Vendor Selection

Perform database search of possible vendors

Submit Discovery and Needs Analysis Report to selected vendors

Do telephone and e-mail question and answer with responding vendors and their references to determine reasonable compliance with Discovery and Needs Analysis Report for the available budget for software purchase

Software and Computer Platform Purchase

Establish each software's compliance and non-compliance with the company’s needs

Oversee onsite testing of reviewed applications, where possible.

Oversee vendor demonstrations of reviewed products

Secure price quotes for each software and for the computer platform required for the software to execute with satisfactory performance

Verify with the vendor supplied references the reasonableness of the transition costs provided by each vendor for training, implementation, etc of their software product
