Dynamics 365 – What to do When VoC Survey Responses Aren’t Being Received

By June 1, 20174 Comments

If you’re a user of the Voice of the Customer feature in Dynamics, you might know that Microsoft Azure occasionally acts up and prevents survey responses from being received & visible in Dynamics. You wait hours for survey responses that should be there, but just…aren’t. Thankfully, there’s a way for us to go in the back and kick the service into action again.

Head on over to the Solution by going to Settings-> Customizations-> Solutions:

Find Voice of the Customer either by searching, or sorting one of the columns (just click on the column header) and open it:

You should see this new window. Select the “Retrigger Response Processing” Option, and wait up to 15 minutes for your survey responses to roll in:

    Hi There!

I’ve been trying to see some survey responses, I already tried to retrigger as you mentioned above but without success.

It’s been 2 hours since I completed my Survey’s test and still not receiving any survey response.

      Hi Jean Pierre,
I feel your pain! In recent months, I’ve found that responses are taking a very long time to arrive in Dynamics, even after selecting “Trigger Response Processing”. For me, it has taken even up to 24 hours for responses to arrive. This is true for me across multiple CRM instances. If responses still aren’t there in 24 hours, I encourage you to open a support ticket with Microsoft (they should be able to restart any hanging back-end processes). Please let me know if you have any other questions!
      Thanks,
      Megan

there is no such option in version 9.0.1188.4. Can anybody help in resolving this issue ???
Another thing that i have observed is that, if i send a blank survey form, responses are received in mscrm. but if i add a rating question, the response doesnt come back to crm
